Book Review- Blind Landing (Flipped, Book One) by Carrie Aarons

Fear stops dreams in their tracks before they even have a chance.
Then again, so do injuries.

Natalia Grekov was born to win Olympic gold. As the USA’s top gymnast, she’s calm, confident and ready to make her country proud in just two short months. And her elite athlete lifestyle includes no time for distractions—especially men. When a disastrous fall in practice puts her dreams at risk, it seems the only person who can help her is the one person she wants nothing from.

Spencer Russell is gymnastics’ bad boy. A cocky, laid-back charmer with abs of steel and a witty mouth, he waltzes around the U.S. Gymnastics Training Camp like he owns the place—even though he doesn't anymore. After an injury sidelined his career and any chance at Olympic glory, he’s now just a coach, helping other gymnasts reach their goals. Serious is not a word in Spencer’s vocabulary. But when Natalia tumbles into his life, he's suddenly sincerely interested in helping the blonde beauty in any way he can.

Can they vault over the obstacles standing in their way? Or will Spencer be the distraction that causes Natalia's chance at gold to crash and burn?

(Possible Spoilers)

Natalia Grekov is a young gymnast with the her sights set on making it to the Olympics. She's dedicated her whole life to this moment, to this sport that means the world to her. She wont let anything stand in her way, like her harsh and unprofessional coach, her new developed fear of flips off a balance beam, or the sexy, laid back, Coach Spencer Russell. But when it comes to Spence, Natalia can't deny the attraction she has to him, and his easy going, goofy personalty, or his amazing body. She's worked hard, to get this far and doesn't want to jeopardize her dream. But will Spencer help her or distract her.

Spencer Russell was the best in the men's gymnastics world, when his dream came to a end. Now a coach at "Filipek's Gymnastics", Spencer works with some of the greatest gymnast. He brings his skills, and his awesome personalty, and helps them live out their dreams. Something he's no longer able to do. He feels a little lost, gymnastics is his life, its in his blood, and now he has to find a new way to do what he loves. When sassy, confident, Natalia Grekov, almost knocks him off his feet, Spence finds himself intrigued, but knows its not the smartest thing to do, getting involved with a gymnasts. But Spence is the type of guy to have fun and let loose, so why not have some fun with Nat.

I LOVED Blind Landing, it was so fun and sexy. You feel the love for this sport through out every chapter. Nat was such a awesome female lead to read about, her personalty, her love for gymnastics. She works hard, stays true to herself, and goes after what she wants full force. I am in LOVE with Spencer! He is definitely one of my new favorite book boyfriends. He is hilarious, cocky, laid back, sexy. He'll make you laugh and swoon.

Awesome job Carrie Aarons, I can't wait to read more of this series.
