Book Review- Hard To Serve (A Hard Ink Novella) by Laura Kaye

To protect and serve is all Detective Kyler Vance ever wanted to do, so when Internal Affairs investigates him as part of the new police commissioner’s bid to oust corruption, everything is on the line. Which makes meeting a smart, gorgeous submissive at an exclusive play club the perfect distraction…

The director of the city’s hottest art gallery, Mia Breslin’s career is golden. Now if only she could find a man to dominate her nights and set her body—and her heart—on fire. When a scorching scene with a hard-bodied, brooding Dom at Blasphemy promises just that, Mia is lured to serve Kyler again and again.

Then, as their relationship burns hotter, Kyler learns that he’s been dominating the daughter of the hard-ass boss who has it in for him. Now Kyler must choose between life-long duty and forbidden desire before Mia finds another who’s not so hard to serve.

Mia Breslin art gallery director, has recently moved to Baltimore, and with all the hard work she's been putting into her gallery, she's ready to relax and take some time for herself. She's ready to test out the exclusive BDSM Club, Blasphemy. She's a Submissive, and she's look for a Dom, someone that can give her everything she craves, she desires. When Mia arrives at Blasphemy, she knows all her desires will be met, she feels comfortable here, she can express her wants, her needs. She wasn't ready for the instant explosion of passion she would feel, when she meets the extremely sexy, Master Kyler.  The chemistry between them is off the charts, they clash in a passion field moment, and she's hooked. But she's worried he could be dangerous for her heart, she knows she could feel strongly for this man. But he's doesn't seem interested in a lasting relationship. She'll have to kept her feelings hidden, but it gets harder to when the spark between them grows each night they spend wrapped around one another.

Kyler Vance, detective, Dom, part owner of the Baltimore's most exclusive BDSM club, Blasphemy. He was recently wounded in the line of duty, working to get back out in the field, and now being investigated for helping out friends. Ready to blow off some steam and unwind, he heads to Blasphemy. When he spots a beautiful new member to the club, he's more intrigued than he has been since before being wounded. Something about this gorgeous, curvy Submissive calls to him, and with just one night with her, he knows he's hooked. But he can't let it go on, he doesn't do relationships of any kind. And he know's Mia could tempt him with the thought of a future together. He tries hard to keep their personal lives separate from their nights at the club. But it's not easy for either one of them to deny what is growing between them. And Kyler will have to decided if he can take that chance, and let himself fall Mia.

Hard To Serve is defiantly Laura Kaye's sexiest book. Wow! *Fans Face* I loved everything about this book. It's a start to what will be a fantastic, sexy series. Kyler is a very yummy Dom to fall for. A loving, sweet, take charge kind of guy. Mia was a great character, she knows who she is and what she wants. She can really be herself at Blasphemy. Mia & Kyler embrace their attraction, they heat up the pages, and leave you rooting for them. I can't wait to see all that is to come in the Blasphemy series.
