Love can be as sweet as honey, or it can sting like a bee.

Bo Smith knows that if you go looking for honey, you get stung, so he has his life just how he wants it. No hassles, no complications, and no heartache. As the handsome high school athletics coach, he would be the pick of the small town he grew up in...if he was into commitment, or dating...or even calling back. But he has sworn off anything resembling a future and his mind isn't going to change.

Then his eyes lock on the new girl in town...She’s beautiful, intelligent, and full of surprises. Just the kind of complication he has been avoiding.

Sophia Brown is looking for the sweet simple life. She has it all planned out. Getting used to life alone isn't easy, but she has her garden, her bees, and her dog Triton to tend to. It's the fresh start she's been dreaming of, surrounded by nothing but open fields to stare at all day.

Nothing at all...unless you count the high school football team and their distractingly handsome coach, practicing right across the street.

But when sparks fly, Bo must choose between the sting of his past or the sweetness of the future.

He may just find that honey tastes good on everything.

Sophia Brown is the new girl in town. She's looking to set roots in this small town and make the dreams that her and her late mother had come true. Sophia is a simple women, its just her, her big dog Triton, and her bee's. She has lots of plans for her home, her garden, her bee's and she's looking forward to selling her homemade products at the local farmers market. When she encounters the brooding, sexy, high school athletics coach, Sophia finds herself curious, what makes this man so closed off. And the attraction between them is hard to ignore. She tries to get him to open up, to laugh, smile, but this is one stubborn man. And it doesn't help that at every turn her dog Triton tries to take him out. But the chemistry between them can't be ignored for long, and after a sexy night together. Bo & Sophia will find whats growing between them is stronger than ever. But Sophia is happy to take things slow, let the relationship blossom, but Bo doesn't seem to be able to let go of the past and fully open up.

Bo Smith, high school athletics coach, is know for being closed off, grumpy, alone. He holds onto a lot of guilt from his past. And because of that he doesn't open up to anyone. He has even distanced himself from his family. He works long hours and that's about it. But when the sassy, down to earth Sophia Brown moves to his little town, Bo finds himself wanting to get to know this women, more than for one night, but his attitude and the guilt from his past, hinder him from moving forward and being happy. After an amazing night spent with Sophia, Bo finds himself contemplating a real relationship. But that can't happen if he doesn't fix himself first.

Bo, this sexy, sweet, gentleman. With his grumpy attitude and fierce protective streak, is a yummy alpha book boyfriend to fall for. Sweet, caring, lovable Sophia is a fresh female lead to love. And together these two make for one Swoon-worthy read. Its a real, sweet, and sexy kind of relationship to read about. The authors writing is great, you feel the vibe of this small town through each chapter, I loved their family/friends, and I fell in love with Triton, this big goofy dog was a awesome part of the story.

Romance, second chances, dogs, family and lots of honey! Honey Bee is one sweet love story. And I hope to read lots more from this author.
