Book Review- Tattoo (A Take It Off Novel) by Cambria Hebert

A tattoo gets them in trouble… He will get them out.

After years of cultivating an undercover identity, Brody West is finally off the case and free to live a life of his own. All that time spent in the company of criminals and killers left him a little jaded… and with an identity crisis. He isn’t sure who he is anymore, or who he wants to be.

To give him time to think, he takes a few days off to go fishing. On his way out of town, he makes a routine stop at the bank and finds himself flirting with the girl behind the counter.

But his flirtation is cut short when criminals burst into the bank and shoot her right before his eyes.

In attempt to administer first aid, Brody reveals a tattoo on his upper arm. A mark that will drag him and the girl into the kind of situation he was trying to get away from. But he can’t walk away because he’s the only thing capable of keeping Taylor alive and bringing down the guys who shot her—guys who are seriously dangerous.

(Possible Spoilers)

Brody West, just off of a very long undercover case, wants to leave town and figure out what to do with a his life next. Anymore it's a life he barley recognizes. When a quick stop at the bank, turns into utter chaos, Brody will have to step back into the life he thought was behind him for good. As a group of masked men rush the bank, Brody's instincts to survive and to protect kick in. And the beautiful bank teller, the one who caught his eye moments before, Taylor Shaw, becomes his new priority.

Lucky for them a tattoo of Brody's is the only thing keeping him and Taylor alive. She will have to trust him, and him her, if they want to make it out of this nightmare. Pretending and surviving is all they can do. This crew is dangerous, and Taylor and Brody will have to keep their guards up around them, yet let them down when together, enough to trust, to fight, to live.

Brody, Brody, Brody. He is one sexy man. Tough, rugged, and good at what he does, kicking bad guy a**.  I could not get enough of him. And Taylor, I really loved her. Despite all she's going through, taken, having to trust a complete stranger, being surrounded by guys with guns. She manages to stay strong through it all. Together her and Brody make one awesome team. And the cherry on top of one awesome, suspenseful, thrilling and sexy ride, Brody and Taylor's serious hot chemistry.
