Book Review- Blizzard (BearPaw Resort #2) by Cambria Hebert

An arctic blast is coming…

Fleeing to the wintry town of Caribou was always meant to be temporary,

BearPaw Resort just a place to hide.

Never in a million years did I expect that running back to the past

would bring me face to face with my future.
But it did, and now everyone I love is in danger.
I’ve already escaped death three times, and I know my luck is running out.
I’m left looking over my shoulder, watching and waiting,
knowing they’re coming
But when?
Hiding is impossible when the mob wants you erased,
and I love Liam far too much to try to disappear.
The more time I spend with him, the more I realize how much he needs me.
A darkness lurks inside him, and the colder it gets, the more I see it in his eyes.
So here I am, more afraid than ever before.
Giving up isn’t an option. Giving in will get us killed.
A blizzard is brewing on our mountain,
more frigid than anything we’ve ever felt.
With everything we ever wanted at stake, the only option is to fight.

When life turns arctic…

Who will survive the blast?

My Review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My Emotions! This book was everything! Suspenseful, sexy, full of love, tears and two people fighting for their everything, each other.

Liam goes through a lot of struggles in this book. He wants to be their for everyone, he wants to take on more at BearPaw Resort, to help his father. He wants to stay strong and be the best man he can for Bellamy. A protector, her future, hers. He will fight, for her, them, to protect her with his life. All while battling his own demons. We get a deeper look into Liam and all he suffered with, when he injured his leg. How losing his career effected him. And through all his pain and darkness, I found even more love for Liam. He is strong, resilient. His journey is a hard one, all the ways his life is being pulled, but with Bellamy by his side, he knows he can do it. They can survive.

Bellamy just wants happiness, a family. And being on this snowy mountain, surround in  Liam's world by Alex, Charlie, his parents, and most importantly Liam, Bellamy knows she will have to fight harder than ever to protect that happiness. She's done, tired, of looking over her shoulder, worried that each day with Liam could be her last.  But with Liam at her side, and the chance of an epic life together, she knows she has to fight and fight to put this nightmare behind her once and for all.

Bellamy is an great heroine. I love her spunk, her sweet gentleness, her passion for cooking, and the way she loves Liam with all her heart. Through out the book, you really feel the struggle Bellamy is going through, trying to balance the guilt of putting the people she loves in danger. And wanting so hard to live through all that is after, threatening to take away a second chance at living. At being with Liam.

Liam and Bellamy are such an intense, swoony couple! I LOVE them, and the passionate, beautiful connection they share. Liam is a total Alpha, who's love for his Bellamy shines through each chapter. I can not get enough of Liam, and all his crazy intensiveness. His cocky smirk, all that makes him a troubled character, that makes him, Liam. Bellamy is a total sweetheart, who's vulnerable side balanced with her feisty will to protect, make you love her just as much as Liam.

Cambria Hebert writes vivid visuals, captivating emotions, and characters that you root for, cry and laugh along with. When you read the last page, these two and the dangerous, consuming, story that is Blizzard, will stick with you. I will be anxiously waiting for what craziness comes through the doors of the BearPaw resort next.

Avalanche: BearPaw Resort Book #1

Don’t get caught in the surge.

Through a bullet hole in a wall, I watch a man bleed to death.
Those responsible think their crime died with the victim, until I identify them.
What’s a girl to do when she’s being hunted by murderers
witness protection can’t even stop?
Run.
My only refuge is a place I vowed to never go again.
When it’s do or die, an eight-year-old heartache suddenly seems trivial.
Besides, he won’t be there anyway.
But he is.
Turns out my old pain feels brand new the second his eyes meet mine.
I can’t leave. I can’t stay.
This snowy town that’s supposed to be my shelter
suddenly exposes me more than before.
With no one else to lean on, Liam becomes my lifeline.
Now we’re both running for our lives,
trying not to get swept away.
